Freecell freezes Vista

I have an acer aspire 5520 laptop wichi came with vista home premium, and every time I play the bundled windows freecell, it is a question of minutes before the system freezes and the only way out is to hard-reset the machine.
I have the same problem afer a fresh reinstall of the OS, I also changed the video memory settings but that did not change anything.
I don't think it is a heating issue because it also happens when the pc has just started
Has anyone experienced the same problem? thks

I assume you use a virus checker

if so, go off-line and shut down your virus checker

351 UK pounds that is = $691

Yes you heard it right.. this has caused and outrage in the UK!
MS however doesnt give a damn!

and in europe amazon.de lists it
250 euros that is = $351

First off, Amazon is known to do this. CAD = USD these days and has been
for some time, yet they ask 20-50% more for the same items in Canada. It
isn't duties and taxes either unless made overseas. I stopped buying Amazon
anything some 2-3 years ago.

Really sneaky how their site works too. It is aware of which country you
come from. If you can, use a point inside the USA to view Amazon.

If you're hard-freezing the system, that implies some significant level of
driver problems on your system. You mentioned changing the video memory
settings: I would suggest going further and actually updating the driver.
