Free version of Windows with advertisements

Hello,
I know that my idea is maybe strange and difficult to make. But in my
opinion, it would be good idea for everybody - users, Microsoft and
advertizers.
Users would use free and legal Windows. Microsoft would earn money from
advertisements and companies would find new and really good type of
increasing their popularity.
Of course, this version would be the most basic edition of Vista. It can
even replace standard Basic Edition. Many people don't need an Aero or really
good protection and administration tools. If they did, they would buy more
advanced edition.
I know, that this project need really big effort and cannot be made
immediately. But Microsoft can do something like that after a few years. The
same situation was with Windows XP Media Center Edition, which was released
after Basic and Professional editions.
They can even make it, when they will be creating Fuji/Vienna (I heard that
next version of Windows will have this name).

Please, think about my idea. I believe Microsoft will earn also on this type
of Windows. And they will almost completely get rid of piracy. Microsoft will
be also much more friendly company and will be perceived as not thinking only
about profits.

Best regards,

P.S I am terribly sorry for my language. As you could see, English isn't my
native one. I hope, you would understand my post completely.

I thought about your idea. I don't think you understand MSFT. They are
laser focused on your money. Their Vista licensing thoroughly reflects the
"let the unswashed peasant scum eat cake" attitude. Just give it up for
Redmonsoft and the more the better.

Maybe you have them confused with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
One sponges your money up and does help the other disperse some of it. But
most of the causes are more and better toys for the insatiable appetites of
the girls and boys on the Redmond campus for them.

The best magician's illusion is that either the TBT or the public builds
available have much to do with fixing Vista or making it better since scroes
of major features went unfixed for 16 months on the Road To RTM coming soon.
LOL they blocked access the whole time to bugs on Connect for the public and
are still blocking it in their new Beta model of Connect.

Vista for the Redmond campus is about a lot of this to a considerable
extent:

I would trade a high price of Vista for adverts. But they would have to
have restrictions. No pop up adverts while I am working and have them
restricted to a special sidebar like they do in windows live mail desktop.
Anything other than that would be an intrusion.
Its not going to happen though.

And then everyone would complain about these advertisement apps getting in
the way of PC usage, phoning home and tracking usage habits.
