FP98 to FP2002 upgrade

Thanks to all who responded, but I still am unsure if I
can just put in the 2002 CD and run setup. It sounds like
I only need to do the server extension upgrade if I want
to continue using Personal web server. If I dont care if I
can continue to use PWS and are willing to now use IIS
server can I skip these server extension upgrades? and
just install my FP2002 over the top of my FP 98. ie. what
I mean by that is just put in the FP2002 CD and do setup
without doing anything else?

If I must do the server extension upgrade in addition to
and before the full FP98 to FP2002 upgrade How do I
upgrade just the 98 sever extensions to 2000 extensions
without purchasing and installing FP 2000 and then
installing the FP 2002 I already have and upgrading to
that also. Are the extension upgrades downloadable free
from somewhere.

Thanks, dont mean to be so unknowledgable but technology
is a new challenge for me. But I am learning more every day

1. Yes you can just insert the FP2002 CD and upgrade.

2. However, in order the use any of the FP2000 features of FP2002 under Windows 9x/ME, you must have
the FP2000 extensions, which are a free download from Microsoft. You do not need to purchase FP2000.

3. If you upgrade your OS to Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro with IIS, then the FP2000 extensions
will be installed when you install IIS under Add/Remove programs.
