You can remove Windows XP from your computer in a number of ways.
You could boot from the Windows XP CD ROM and then move through the setup
process until you reach the section on disk partitioning. Then just delete
the current partitions, and then eject the CD and turn you machine off.
If you wish to install another operating system then you will need to follow
their instructions for preparing the hard disk for install.
