Format/Excel question on webpages

How can I get an excel file to be viewed within a page. Not as a clickable
link that opens within the excel program. Can I take the excel spreadsheet
and somehow "copy the format" into Front page so it shows up as an individual
webpage? For example, it is player stats on a team website. Any idea how to
"embed"/"copy" the data to make it into a viewable HTML page to be shown on
the web?

With the spread sheet open in Excel, click File > Save as and select hmtl
( or web page I forget which it is )
