Forgotten password

Thank you for the response to obtain my password, but,
along with other password problem solutions I read on the
message board, I'm still not able to get into my
computer. I tried to reinstall Windows XP from an
original CD and from a reinstallation CD, of which
neither worked. Also went to a couple of web sites and
tried their solutions with no results. Is my only
solution now to do System Recovery?

If none of the solutions work, that would seem to be your only alternative.

Hi,
I did this once and what I did to at least give me a hint
as to what my password is, was, under run, type msinfo32,
then click run, it will open the entire computer works,
and your password should be somewhere in Security, when
you get to your password, count how many dots are there
and that can give you a hint. However if you use an ISP,
at least the smaller ones like mine usually keep a copy
of my password. When they need to get in and work on
it. And what they can do is put in a new password for
you, well at least mine can, or after making sure you are
you, they can also give it to you. Hope it helps.
Sincerely,
Nanette
