Forgot how I wrote photos to DVD

I wrote/placed/burned some photos to DVD for my neighbors a while ago. The
files were saved as JPEG and once on the DVD they turned into .PXI files.
Once loaded in their DVD, the photos show in a loop.

I'd like to do this again so that I can place a map at the beginning of the
"show", but I have been unable to recreate a disk they can read.

I'm thinking that they couldn't read anything I wrote with Sonic, and I
reverted to native Windows XP Home tools, but I don't seem to find this
capability now.

Can someone help me remember what I've forgotten?

You no doubt have third party software that allows authoring DVDs,
such as Nero, Roxio, or Sonic.

Look in the "All Programs" list in the start menu and explore similar-
sounding titles.

Sorry, I should have been more explicit.
You need software to copy to DVD when using your computer under XP. To copy
photos to CDs, XP has this
Copy to CD command that you can use.
You probably used some other software on your system to copy to DVD, but I
really don't know what a .PXI file is.

A .pxi is a PlexTools CD image. Do you have a Plextor burner.? This software
probably came with the burner.

The file type suffix .pxi is created by "PlexTools CD Image (Plextor)",
a third-party program that came with your Plextor optical drive.

This is probably a "playlist" of files to burn, not the actual files.
