ForceWare x64 97.46 - Performance problem?

J

Julie

Hi,
I have been reading up on a lot of posts that are saying they cannot get the
x64 version of the new 97.46 drivers to work. Reading more, many people have
said that installing the International edition of the drivers worked for
them.

Well, I got the international drivers to install... thank you to the person
who worked it out.

Anyway :) my gc is a 6600gt, which, before this new driver was achieving 4.7
in the gaming graphics performance score... now it is getting 4.6.

Anybody else having this problem?

Julie ^_^

PS. Hi KJP, Just FYI. Good to see you're still trolling around here, Just
FYI. :D

I'm not sure I'd worry too much about that.

I get a solid 5.9 on my CPU, 5.9 on the memory, and 5.9 on my
graphics. BUT my hard drives get 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2 depending upon
whether or not it's raining outside. So I don't think it's an exact
science. You might find you get 4.7 again the next time you run it.

Well, you're welcome... I guess :)

Just checked and you know what... My 7600 GT went from 5.4 to 5.3. Hmm...
