Force Master Browser on XP

How do i force a master browser when i can only access one of the
computers on the network.

In other words how can i force my computer to be master browser (MB) on
a network of about 100. I cannot access any of the other computers,

The reason i want to do this is because sometimes XP elects MB's that
have firewalls which disallow certain things. I know that my firewall
allows all those things and therefore i want my computer to be the
master browser..
Thankyou in advance for any help anyone can offer me

Search for "isDomainMaster" in article "Appendix C - Computer Browser Service"

<http://www.microsoft.com/technet/itsolutions/network/evaluate/technol/tcpipfund/tcpipfund_appc.mspx>

However it has been my experience that just one misconfigured
firewalled computer will end up forcing itself into the Master
Browser position no matter.

Good Luck,
John

XP pro, workgroup = mshome...

Do not know what u mean by domain and the message about changing using
regedit will not be feasable on all these computers that i cant acess.,
