When I send an e-mail message to someone how do I change the colour of the
'subject' text. I want that the person when he receives my e-mail can
immediately know its from me because of a different colour.

yes that is what I thought, but whenever i get a e-mail message from my boss
its in RED. I would like to do the same for my subordinates. Unfortunately he
is not telling me.

That's because YOU have created a filter that performs that action. It's
nothing that your boss has done. See Tools>Organize>Using Colors. Either
one of the conditions there or one of the conditions you'll see when you
click "Automatic Formatting" in the upper right corner of that wizard will
be cauing it. For example, I have a formatting filter called "Red" that
chooses a red color for the subject font whenever the message has the
condition "Whose importance is high". This causes all messages whose sender
included the "high" importance attrribute to show in red in my Inbox.

You cannot do it for your subordinates. They must do it for themselves. It
is up to them to create and apply the filter based on the condition you tell
them you're going to use.
