Sorry plun, but I am new to all this. I checked earlier
and my definitions were showing that it had accepted the
latest updates, now it has gone back to 5729 and still
keeps updateing again. I have tried what you suggested,
but being a bit of a novice, I don't fully understand. I
right clicked on MSAS in the system tray and chose
shutdown. When it asked 'do you really want to shut down
MSAS' I clicked yes, but then I got stuck. You say right
click and "save as target". Where do I right click. Would
it be better for me to wait untill my definitions accept
the update rather than me mess things up altogether.
