Fonts Weird Symbols

Hi my name is luis i recently dowload it "System Mechanic
Pro" i use a tool there called "Fix Registry Problems"
I used it and it DIDNT ask me to restart my comp. but i
did it anyways to make sure it got all the "bad" registry.
so anyways when it stared up again a bunch of weird
symbols and i can say they werent even letters.
i tried to system restore to a previous point but i
couldnt do that, so now i try to install more fonts it
works it shows as them being install but when i restart
the comp. it does it again and i have to keep on doin
that, please i really need help, im runnin windows xp pro.

XP does a decent/good job with the regsitry and most of these "registry
cleaner" programs do more harm than good. If a system restore doesn't work
try a repair install:
Boot from the XP cd, and when prompted hit enter to begin setup. Press F8 to
accept the license agreement. It will then search and find your existing XP
install. Select it, and choose R for repair. Back up any important data
files in case something goes wrong.
