Font automatically changes

When sending a new message, if I backspace and start typing the font it
automatically changes to MS San Serif. I do not have a signature. I have my
fonts set to Book Antiqua for outgoing mail, Monotype Corsiva for replying
and forwarding, and Book Antiqua for Plain text. My group e-mail is set to
Book Antiqua also. I have no idea where the MS San Serif is coming from
because before I changed my font the default was Ariel and Tahoma.
