Folder won't open

A user just told me she created a folder, saved documents to it, and now can't open it. I told her to right click & try looking at properties, but she's not at the PC where I can walk her through it. Any ideas if it could be something besides properties or permissions? She has XP.

Trish, I would try the property first also, but be sure that in explore that
show hidden Files and Folders is selected. {Explore > Tools > Folder Options
