Folder view puzzle

I'm browsing through a hundred or so sub-folders in my \My Pictures\Photos
folder and have just opened one that look like this, a format I don't
recall seeing before:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/FolderPuzzle.jpg

Those unwanted category headings appear in all other views too, just for
this one folder (I've opened maybe 80 so far).

Why would this have happened and how do I return it to 'normal' by
removing those headings please?

On the menu bar, go to View, Arrange Icons By, and uncheck Show in Groups.

Hard to say how it happened- inadvertent keystrokes, someone else has access
to this PC, who knows.

Do exactly as "SC Tom" suggests -

"On the menu bar, go to View, Arrange Icons By, and uncheck Show in
Groups."

....however, don't be worried about how this came to happen, I know for an
absolute fact that no-one has access to my PC, but this random re-setting
of how files and folders choose to display themselves in Windows Explorer
happens all the time on mine.

Often I used to take the trouble to set desired column headings in folders
containing all the MP3s from one album - only to have it forget after two
or three reboots. Often the folders would not just be set back to default
but display column headings for picture files instead of for audio ones!

I have given up trying to set how Explorer displays individual folders.

....and, before anyone says anything, yes I *do* have "Remember each folders
view settings" enabled and *have* set the number of remembered folders
threshold to well over 4000

P.S. One thing that does seem to work, for a while at least, is in Windows
Explorer "Tools" > "Folder Options" > "View" (tab) press on the "Apply to
All Folders" button after first setting the folder you are currently in to
how you want all folders to look.

Thanks both - duly fixed as suggested!
