Folder properties changing...

H

Howard Woodard

I've asked this question on this group before and thought that I had found
an answer but apparently not.

The folder properties are getting changed. Picture folders will get changed
to music folders. Music folders will get changed to picture or document
folders. I can go through and set all of my music folders in the My Music
directory to music properties. At some point in the [indeterminant] future
many of them will no longer have that property and things like the folder
icon will have been changed as well.

Has anyone run into this and do you know what the fix for it -- if there is
one -- is?

Thanks in advance,

Howard

Thanks Wes. I tried the little applet first but even though it would fix
the properties of the folders they still wouldn't stay fixed. I then used
the first option (deleting the registry keys) from Kellys Korner and that
worked.

I appreciate the help.
