Folder Options

I am running XP Pro. Whenever I hit the My Docs, My Comp icon (or any icon
for that matter) it only opens that particular folder to about 2/3 of the
full size of the screen and I have to double click the top of the window to
make it expand to the full screen size. Is there a way that makes it possible
for every icon/folder etc, to always open into the full screen size so I
don't have to keep double clicking to open the folder to full screen size.
Many thanks in advance if you can help. Mike, UK

Well you could alter the shortcut properties telling the shortcut to maximize
on open. But I think it is easier just to size the screen manually. Call
Windows Explorer, but don't hit the maximize button, instead manually size
the window how you want it, then close the window. Call Windows Explorer
again and the size should be as you previously sized it manually.
