Folder disappears from Favorite Folder when closed

When I add a folder to the Favorite Folders in Outlook 2003, it dissapears
from it the next time I open Outlook. How do I get it to stay there?

Start Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch, recreate your favorites and
start Outlook normally. Do they stick now?
