I'm having floppy drive problems.
New install of XP. New hard drive. New motherboard.
In file explorer, can click on A: drive and view files,
but then the drive never stops working (light stays on,
continues to make noise...), and I am unable to edit the
files, or write any more files to that drive. I have to
eject the disk for it to stop. Problem happens every time
I try to view the A: drive.
1) Checked cable. It is installed correctly.
2) Checked disk. It works fine on another computer. No
disk works on this computer.
3) Checked drive. It works fine on another computer. New
floppy drive does not work on this computer either.
Any suggestions?
