FLIGHT SIM 2004-Non Responsive PLEASE HELP!

Flight Simulator 2004 has always worked fine for me. All of a sudden it has
become non-responsive. I have tried many times to get the program to run
and although it aprears to be loading, it is non responsive. The error
report shows something in the Locals/Temp Folder. The error log is reported
as:

Category: (101)
Event ID : 1002
Hanging Application fs9.exe
Version 9.0.0.30612
Hang Module, HungCap
ER_HANG_LOG

might wanna' consider talkin' to your parents regarding this......they could
have possibly done something to the PC they got you....probably hoping you
do something a bit more positive than playing games on it......never can
tell...thoise parents.....yup...

Same problem here

I have FS9 installed with the update it ran fine for months, then all of a sudden the same thing happen to me. I have tried to reinstall but I left the user data installed and I reinstalled into the same drive and folder location. BTW I am the parrent and no one touches my PC. I can't think of changes since the last time I ran FS9. It work without issue just 4 days ago.
