Flaky address bar

Hi,

I have win XP and IE6. Lately my address bar will not
work at all. Anything I type, www.yahoo.com,
www.hotmail.com, or any address will display garbled words
in the bar 76@1@%%20%*(&(&%20%20, something like this, and
in the browser will say in big letters "this page can't be'
displayed" etc. Could someone please help me correct this
problem??? Thanks in advance. . . . . Bill
