Firewall

I installed the SPYWARE software, now I no longer have a
Firewall. Initially it was in my Norton software. But
Spyware turned it off and I cannot turn it on.

Try this solution from a post "NETWORK" earlier :

"Yesterday I posted a message to a topic called Firewall,
as I was one of the many noticing that if you install the
anti-spyware on WinXP SP2 it will cause the MS firewall
to stop working. I thought it was hilarious that MS
corrupted its own software. Today I found out they just
simply deleted the whole topic.

Well, today I found out that also my Network stopped
working. Now, this is less funny. Luckily I found another
topic that had a solution that would fix my Networking
issue. It turned out that it fixed both my issues. Let's
hope everything else is working fine. (Knock on wood) I
can't believe that MS publicizes a beta that has so many
problems with their own OS. Bon swat, here is the
solution:

Btw, think twice before installing this anti-spyware!!!
The intent is great but this version should not have been
released as a beta.

My Firewall as well as my network stopped working!!! But
the program at http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?
ttid=257 was able to restore them both!

Thanks to Brad for the link!"
