FireFox Extension

Here a website with most popular extensions which aren't released on
Mozilla or something like that.

http://btcorp.dyndns.org/Tools/FireFoxExtensions/FF_1.5_extensions/

It looks like the person hosting them has just bumped up the maxversion
for those extensions. Old extensions can break things in new Firefox
versions. (Though I'm sure he wouldn't have put them on the web
without at least some testing.) I'd recommend backing up the entire
profile folder before trying these, just to be safe.

FWIW, I can't live without the Bookmarks Synchronizer, so the first
thing I did was bump its maxversion to 1.5, and it seems to work fine.
I haven't tried the others.

Is it just me or are most *all* Firefox sites simply *refusing* to load, today
(Wednesday)?

It's not just you. Since yesterday Mozilla sites seem to be very slow.
(But I guess that's "normal" after a new (major) release?)

For me, they are loading, but slowly. With mozdev, I have to try
several times before I can connect.

What just made its' way into my mind is that Moz notice of not too long ago;
"10 million downloads in...."?

Extension-sites may be 'slow' for quite a while yet...
