Fire wire connection

Hi,

I have a laptop and a workstation. Both run WXP Pro.

I would like to link them together thru the FireWire interface.

The networking wizard does not seem to allow for that.
(unless I am missing something)

Can someone tell me if this is even possible, and if so, how to set it up.

I know little computereese, so please be gentle and explicit.
