Fingerprint Reader/Digital Persona Installation Problem

Hi:
I am not able to install the reader, using either version 2.0 or 2.01. I
get this message:

User Properties Error Invalid String Class - Suspect Installation Problem

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Tristan,
I have exactly the same problem ! The mouse itself works, but not the
fingerprint reader.
I asked in this newsgroup last week, but I have not received an answer for a
fix!
I googled and found quite a few folks with the same problem, seems that
Microsoft is just not able to provide the correct software!
Even in their knowledge base they have no answer for fixing the problem in
Vista32!
I spent the past 4 days looking for a fix, but to no avail.
I installed the same software 2.01 on my Windows XP PC, fingerprint reader
works just great. It really seems to be the problem of Vista!
I am really at a loss and getting really p.o'd at Microsoft!
If you find an answer for that problem, please let me know. The same goes
for me.
