filepath in Word 2007

I have a doc submitted by a student (online) that contains the
filename in the footer as per the instructions; however, when viewed
in print preview the entire filepath shows. When I download the doc to
my PC, the footer in normal view is fine; in print preview the temp
file path is added - doesn't show in normal view though. Any thoughts
on how this happens. Thanks much.

You appear to have opened the file directly from the e-mail, which opens it
in a temporary file location. Then when you switch to print preview the
filename field updates to show the path of the current location. Word
Options > Display > Update fields before printing.
