File transfers using RDP?

Hi,

When connect using RDP, is it possible to transfer files between the local
and remote desktops? I haven't been able to get this to work but would find
it very useful.

Yes - before you connect, check the Options --> Local Devices Resources and
select the drives (or all of them) you want to show up on your remote system
when you connect.

This works but seems backwards to me. Instead of sending, I'm pulling from
myself through the remote PC. What I want to be able to do is connect to
the remote PC and dump a file I've been working on locally on the desktop.
This will do of course but
is there another way to do what I want that doesn't allow the remote to be
mapped to my machine?
