file protection

Hi All:

This maybe a simple question, however, I do not know the
answer. I have several files that I need to protect, I
would like to put a pasword on them to prevent someone
from trying to view them. Can I attache a password to
them, Or must I put them in a folder and then password
protect the folder?

Actually you can't do either. If the drive is NTFS then you can set
permissions on the share, files and or directory.
