File and settings transfer wizard doesn't work well

I have to transfer file and settings form the oldone to the newone. i collect
data with FSTW and all seem to work well, the tool creates the folder
USMT2.UNC containing the files IMG00001.DAT and STATUS.
Then I transfer the folder on my server, then, form the new pc, I launch the
wizard but when I browse the path to reac the folder I receive this error (I
try to translate from italian):
-the specified location does not contain any data
and nothing happens.
I tried to recreate the folder, I tried to copy it on local HDon the new pc,
but nothing to do...
Anyone have some ideas?
thanks

unfortunately those links don't solve the problem, infact noone contains
something about my specific problem.
My first step finishes correctly, fstw creates usmt2.unc, the problem is on
the resume of data, fstw doesn't recognize the two files!!

First, make sure you have all updates for FastWiz by visiting windowsupdate
from your XP machine where you are running FAST. After creating the FAST
file, verify it is not corrupt by starting the import process on the system
that saved the file. If you get the same error about the location not
containing any stored information, then the generated file is corrupt and
you need to start the process over.

You may also find the information at http://windowsxp.mvps.org/fast.htm
useful.

Create a separate folder ( I usually name it Transfer) on the machine
and have FASTW save the data into this folder.

When you copy the information copy the entire Transfer folder and then
when you restore point FASTW at the Transfer folder itself, not the
files and subfolder inside it.

Good luck
