Field dependancies and renaming

Is there a way to search for where a field is used? I really like the help
with object dependancies but I was given this database, developed by a now
retired developer. There are lots for field names with embedded blanks. I
really don't like blanks in field names (or in table names, query names for
that matter) Anyway, I can check for table dependencies before renaming and
between the propigation Access does when I rename a table, checking objects
previously identified, and searching the code, I can do a reasonable job of
making all the changes I need to do. But its not so easy to change a field
name. Any hints?

Products to document the database and do a global find and replace. All
have Access 97 and later versions. Some don't have an Access 2003 version,
but may still work with Access 2003.

Shareware (Try and Buy):
Find and Replace http://www.rickworld.com

Commercial (Try and Buy)
Speed Ferret http://www.moshannon.com

Total Access Analyzer http://www.fmsinc.com

Free (For Access XP Only??):
http://www3.bc.sympatico.ca/starthere/findandreplace

I've been happy with Find and Replace, although some of the other's have
more power and may be faster

John Spencer made some good recommendations.

I have used Speed Ferret and it is okay. The only problem is they have not
updated the product and it is not easily usable after A2K.

Rick Fisher's product is very good, easy to use, and if you register, it is
only $37 US.

The others I am not familiar with.

Thanks Guys,

I had used Total Access Analyzer years ago and liked it a lot but I forgot
about it. I've been away from Access for a few years and trying to wipe away
the cob-webs in my brain. I appreciate the info - no money for Total Access
Analyzer now but I'll give Find and Replace a try.
