Fedora Core 2 install dies

Everytime i try to install FC2 the install reboots the machine. It
reboots after i press enter for gui install or text install. The last
thing I see is loading initrd.img and it reboots.

My hardware: ASUS P4P800 Deluxe, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb, Onboard
sound and NIC, Samsung 352 Combo drive, Pioneer DVD-RW A04, Maxtor 160Gb
Hard Drive 8Mb Cache, Sony Floppy Drive and 2xCrucial DDR-3200 RAM.

I have turned off Hyperthreading and switched video cards to no avail.
I have tried FC disc 1 on another P4 box and it worked. I have a
feeling that Fedora Core does not like my mobo.

There are known problems with Fedora Core 2 and P4P800-series motherboards
(it's in the release notes..)

Where can i find the Fedora Core 2 release notes? I checked Bugzilla
for P4P800 and found others had the same problems with FC2.

I saw bugzilla bug #121819. I wonder if RedHat is going to fix it or
should i just run Mandrake Linux.
