When we de-activate the Real-time protection on
systemtray menu allow us to set how long the Microsoft
Antispyware will be turn-0ff kinda like the Snooze
feature found in the new MSN toolbar Search and Window
Desktop Search, which is highly customizable where I can
set Snooze to 1 hour or more..etc on the index status,
after that all i have to do is just look/click at the
option Snooze Indexing 1 hour on the systemtray menu. I
hope something similar to that features would be included
on MSAS future release as user's tend to forget to turn
the real-time protection on.

Well, don't know about setting the timing for Real-time protection. But you
can Right click Microsoft AntiSpywares bulls eye icon in the Notification
area > Security Agent Status (Enabled) > Disable Real Time Protection.

Then you can turn it on back when you want.

nice feature could help with some things, but the trick is to prevent other
programs from telling MSAS to snooze agents without the user telling it

they can still put this feature I'm sure that they can
secure it so no malicious program can disable the real-
time protection.

"When we disable the Real-time protection on
systemtray menu allow us to set how long the Microsoft
Antispyware will be turn-0ff" why? because people
sometimes forget to turn it back on.

this is probably better a feature than the one that MSAS
have right now.

Norton Antivirus 2005 has this feature too?

I wouldn't recommend it, because people with malicious intentions can simply
write a program to turn it off, let this one be a give and take I say.
