I dont understand whats exactly is the problem with the board.

Please suggest me whats going wrong at my end.

Have you ever succesfully installed XP Pro on this board? If no try it.
Did you TAP your hardware, and the log file you made when imported to CD
found all devices or something is unresolved?
The image you made had any kind of error or unresolved device?
However , try to access to files in your XPE disk ( you could move to
another system or boot with dos or Winpe ) and look at fbalog.txt file in
directory Windows\FBA.
This should give more infos about the error.
After that look at setupapi.log in the Windows directory that gives a more
fine log of error point.

I agree, log files here should point you to what is going wrong reasonably
quickly.

Hello All,
Yes you are right, I was not able to install XP Prof on this board, it was
giving the "blue screen of death". But what I did is i install XP Prof on
other hardware from same company but not the identical one and than boot it
on C7 and than installed the drivers and had taken the TAP.exe over it.
While importing i dint get any error.
But still Its not doing the FBA stuff.
Will look into the FBALOG.txt.........And let you know.
Thansk for the reply.

hello Amit
here's the point: TAP should be done on the target hardware, not on a kind
of!
Gigabyte may use different devices, if PnP ID is different you can't go.
If your board is unable to install XP pro neither XPE will do: your target
is a barebone PC and is XP pro capable. This is the first step. After that
run TAP an this hardware e follow the standard path.
You may also boot from WinPE ( the first CD of XPE studio) but it's better
to check before why XP pro doesn't install.
When you import the TAP file in CD, record the log file and check if any pnP
component is unresolved, look for them in the VIA support site.
regards Raffaele
