FBA resets during PNP registration

I'm running XPe on it's own drive, with all directories configured for C:,
booting a a master. The software resets after getting about 2/3 of the way
through PNP registration. I've restarted the whole process with a new disk,
FAT32, bootprep, with no change in results. The last few entries in the
FBALOG.TXT document are:

There are no "error" lines in the fbalog.txt file.

The slx file was downloaded from VIA and intended for the target board: VIA
MiniITX.

Is it resetting on registering the item "RAWPORT" or on the item after that?
If on "RAWPORT" -- what could be the cause?

I can't help you here but just a few hints:
- check SetupApi.log. Maybe some errors indicated there.
- connect KD (WinDbg) remotely to the device to see what is going on
there.
- are you able to install and run XP Pro on the board?
- instead of the "slx" from VIA, analyze the hardware and create your
own project (use TAP).
