I cannot get my Favorites to appear in Alphabetical order. I went into my personal favorites folder and sorted them but then when I go out and back into windows they still appear out of order.

Have your tried Start, Favorites and right clicking on one and selecting
Sort by Name? If you have your favorites sorted by folders, you will need
to sort by name for the folders and then sort by name for the favorites in
each folder.

There is no Favorites in my start menu, nor is it listed under all programs. I am having a lot of trouble putting things in places like on toolbars, etc also....another problem. a

If you want Favorites on your Start Menu, this will do it.

Right click the Start button | Properties | Start Menu tab | Customize button |
Advanced tab |
Check:
 Favorites menu
OK | Apply | OK

Okay this is bizarre...I did the move the arrows up and down and then do shift F10 and it worked. Then the next time I right clicked on something it saaid sort by name as an option. Now it is gone and I did the shift F10 and it is not there anymore. Gremlins. I have Windows XP Media Center Edition and Internet Explorer version 6.0...and I'm going nuts....
