The favorites button shows only add to favorites and
organize favorites. Both are not functioning and all my
favorites have disappeared. On clicking the favorites
button on the explorer bar it shows a gray area or the
last explorer bar I clicked before it. for example if I
have just clicked history, then hitting favorites will
give me history also. I tried restarting and removing IE
then adding it again. I tried also checking Enable
personalized favorites folder in the advance tab in
Internet options and unchecking Close unused folders in
History and favorites. None of that solved the problem. I
can still get my favorites from the Documents and
settings folder. My windows version is xp home edition.
Does anyone know how to solve such a problem?
