favorites

following the instructions in the IE Tutorials for alphatizing favorites, I
bring up the favorites menu and click on a link to bring up another menu
which should have "sort by name" on it which is what I need, however, it is
not listed. Any answers about this out there ? I am using Microsoft Internet
Explorer 6

Are you actually following the indtructions? Did you click on the word
"Favorites" on the Menu Bar -- not the icon on the Tool Bar -- and then
right-click on one of the entries in the drop-down list?

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, in addition to

Use the menu option Favorites (in the menu bar which has
File/Edit/View/Favorites/Tools/Help) and when a favorite flies out,
rightclick on it and select "Sort by name"
Don't use the Favorites panel. It must be the menu option or you may
also do it from Start-Favorites

Don't use Favorites button but Favorites in topmost toolbar.
