This morning I tried to use IE6 under Win2KP (all latest updates). When I
clicked on "Favorites", there was nothing there! After a little detective
work, I found the IE was looking in C:\WINNT\Favorites rather in my profile,
C:\WINNT\UserName\Favorites . What caused the switch? How can I get
IE to look in the right place again?

Check the Favorites Value Name in the "User Shell Folders" key.

Hi Jerold!

I, too, have this issue. For some reason the windows
favorites folder changed paths. However, when I attempt
to change the paths within regedit, the settings simply
reset themselves to c:\winnt\favorites.

Got any work-around?

Thanks,
-Ben S.
