favorites folder disappear after installation

After installing and running spyware from Microsoft, my Favorites in
explorer is changing the path to the favorites under the winnt folder
instead of the proper location, how do I correct this for a user other than
the Administrator under W2000, please advice

I think the best thing to do would be to log in as Administrator and cut and
paste the folder back under:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name

I guess its an issue with Limited accounts.

That is the way it is now but for privacy reasons I rather have this pointed
were is supposed to under C:/Documents and Settings/username/favorites I
guess the other alternative would be changing user policy and then changing
registry keys as described on article:

any more suggestions?

I'm sorry I'm not clarifying this; I meant that by way it is now the current
"Favorites folder" is located under C:/WINNT/Favorites instead of the proper
location, thanks
