Favorite Folders gone

All the help says - Favorite Folders cannot be removed, hidden, or resized,
But my Favorite Folders are gone. I clicked the Folder List by mistake and
my Favorite Folders disappeared. There is no info in the many help files I
looked at. I want it back. Please help.
