Hi Ron :)

You do not give the version of Windows you are using or connection, but, you
might start here:

What Are Fatal Exception Errors
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=150314

"Fatal Exception" Error Message When You Browse the Internet with a Cable
Modem
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q298576

Fatal Exception OE At 0028:c001545a 0 Win 98
http://www.smartcomputing.com/techs...283d02a70ad4663b022931c3d1fbc5b&ErrorID=22105

also...

If you have the KB891711 update installed, it can cause problems in Win98
and ME.

Se the information here:
http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=12319
and here

You should also scan your system for hijack or malware:

Hope this helps :)

Hi Ronmac :)

Try repairing your Win98. You may have corrupted files that need to be
replaced. Are you getting any VdX related errors?

How to Repair Windows 98

Repair/Reinstall:

Be sure that your AV and firewall is disabled before starting:

The Internet Explorer Repair Tool
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_5.htm#repair_tool

or.........

If you have not already done so, then you might try a repair of IE6 as
follows:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...port/kb/articles/Q194/1/77.asp&NoWebContent=1
or
http://snipurl.com/6s3r

also....

See the information on repairing W98 here:

Hope this helps :)

Thanks Jan, I tried the IE repair, but no luck, is it possible my IE security
settings are wrong? I also uninstalled the Microsoft update that you
mentioned...Ron
