Fatal Exception.

Working from a laptop with Win98 SE and IE6. Keep getting
the following message:

A Fatal Exception OE has occurred @ 0028:00000009. The
current application will be terminated.
*Press any key to term. current app.
*Press ctrl alt del to restart. Any info will be lost.

I have ran both Adware and Spybot. Nothing unusual found.
Not only does this occur while online, but also while
exploring My Computer or anything else. At times it makes
my comp. shut down alltogether, other times it just shuts
down the page I am trying to view. Just started happening
out of the blue. Please help.

Run CWShredder from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html If you
have a coolwebsearch variant, it will remove it better that Ad-aware or
Spybot.

Then, you'll have to work through the troubleshooting process in
