Hi All,
Firstly let me apologies if i do not get this right I am new to building
pc's etc so hope my 'speak' is understandable.
I am having trouble installing windows vista ultimate OEM.
My system setup it as follows:
Asus M2N8 - vmx motherboard (onboard sound)
AMD AM2 64bit 6000 processor
2 gig DDR2 800 ram (2 x 1 gig sticks)
8500GT OC 256mb video card
2 x 250 gig sata hard disks
I get the following error when vista is install is starting set up -
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The NT Initial COmmand Process System Process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xc0000001 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.
I have tried starting in safe mode, step by step etc but cant get it to run
the setup.
To check my system is ok i successfully installed xp pro and everything
worked fine, i then re formatted HD and back to the same problem.
I would appreciate any information that anyone can shed on this issue.
