Hi
This particular Stop Code is sometimes awkward to diagnose. If Jim's web
page hasn't helped (normally it does) you may need to 'Repair' install XP -
which will mean re-downloading/re-installing the Windows Updates:

| Thanks Will, I've read through all the articles but the problem really
stems form the fact I can't get into windows to load another partion or
service pack as described in the K.Base. The system is frozen out with the
blue screen straight away after the splash screen. Do I have to put in the
winxp CD & will this loose all the settings/progs installed? Cheers
