FAT or NTFS on CF

Sean, if EWF is enabled, does the # of writes matter? I prefer to use
NTFS for boot devices because I don't have to worry about running
bootprep. The CF devices use RAM based EWF. Is there any downside to
doing this?

Thanks,
Mike

There is a lot you metioned here.

Bootprep is only needed if you format the media under DOS.

If your CF is fixed, you can prep the CF drive under DOS with NTFS. I have
been on different projects that have use NTFS for security reasons. You will
have to monitor EWF RMA overlay consumption to make sure the system doesn't
run out of RAM.
