Failed download of Beta Spyware.

I was advised to download the Spyware beta test version,
but it never downloaded properly. Now it will not open,
but freezes the PC. Uninstall says it is not installed,
but files are there. Add/Remove programs does not show it
so that does not work! How can I uninstall this useless
program?

Reboot into safe mode - press F8 at startup and select safe mode, see if you
can get in that way to reinstall or uninstall.

It seems like Microsoft can handle its problems soon
enough. Each day that passes by Linux looks like a better
solution.
