Fable - The Lost Chapters - Installation Fails

I recently purchased Fables - The Lost Chapters. Every time I try to install
the game I get the following error message:

"The installation package could not be opened. Contact the application
vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Insatallation Package.
E:\Fable - The Lost Chapters.msi"

I cannot get any further.

Can anyone offer any advice or, even better, a solution?

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Hello,

Try installing it another PC. It may be a bad CD. If so, you will need to
bring it back to the shop for an exchange.

Thanks. Despite buying the game as brand new from a reputable chain it would
appear that I bought a very badly copied version. I even had Microsoft
logginf onto my machine to try and sort it out. In the end I took it back to
the shop and exchanged it for a authentic version.
