F KEYS

CHUCKQ

I have a Microsoft Natural keyboard which came with no
instructions. When I press F1 to get Windows help I
might get help for Windows, Earthlink Total Access or
Internet Explorer.
How do I use the 12 F keys to do specific fuctions?
Right now only the F1 key does anything.
Thank you!

The F keys have Functions assigned by the software in use at
the moment. MS defaults the F1 key to HELP. You press the
F-Lock key (just above the numerical pad) to set the
function of the Function Keys to the standard F1, F2...
F11,F12 defaults for the program in use. Otherwise the
enhanced functions shown as words on the keys work IF you
have installed the MS Driver which should have come with the
keyboard in the box on a CD. If you got the keyboard
without the box you can download the Intellitype software.
