Extremely large temp files

Ed

All but 3Gig of my 37Gig hard drive has been used up.
This has me worried because I've just had this Dell
for a few weeks now and haven't installed much.
I found that the huge files are inside C:\WINDOWS\Temp
called hp2.tmp, hp41.tmp, hp4A.tmp, and hpB4.tmp
I'm afraid to delete them because I don't know what
they are. Can anybody help me?

Ed;
All *.tmp are safe to delete since they are temporary files.
Sometimes the creating application misses deleting them.
Reboot just before deleting to ensure they are not in use.
