External Hard Drives

    Are the various versions firewire, USB, etc. hard drives compatible with
    Server 2003 Standard and ntbackup.exe

    If want to backup to an external drive the only requirement is that it
    can be mounted as a volume in Windows so you can do a backup to file
    from ntbackup.exe.

    Most USB/Firewire devices are supported by the standard Mass Storage
    Driver in Windows 2003 Server.
